Join us for the 2026 Snowflake Classic, a one-day scholastic chess event for students in grades K–12. The tournament will feature: K-12 Open, K-6 Open, and Introductory Quads. The open sections are four-round Swiss tournaments, and all rated sections will be submitted to US Chess.
Choose the section that best fits the student:
K-12 Open — for experienced over-the-board tournament players; open to all students in grades K–12.
K-6 Open — for developing tournament players ready for a Swiss-style over-the-board event; open to grades K–6.
Introductory Quads — for students new to tournament or over-the-board chess, grouped with players of similar ability; open to grades K–12.
